I AM A WRITER
I am not, by any means, Shakespeare or Charles Dickens. It would take me a lot of time, practice, and effort to be considered as a writer. Yet, I intend to progress my writing by setting more feasible goals, building on new ideas, and developing new skills. Also, I will use the advice of teachers and peers, and draw from previous writing experiences to cast this and future writing experiences.
When I sit down to write, I must do so in a clean, well-organized, and well-lit area. The space must be free from distractions, such as the television or radio, so that I am able to focus and muster my thoughts. When my thoughts become cloudy, I like to rise from my seat and walk around speaking out ideas to myself. Most of my writings have been those of the classroom assignment. I never had a writing published. If I did have the time to sit down and write, I'm not sure that I would write. I keep most of my thoughts to myself, not on paper. Although it does feel nice to express my thoughts and feelings onto the page. I can see my thoughts unfold, and I can organize them to develop new ideas.
I am not a writer, I want to be an English teacher...
